Private Wine Tasting in Dalmatia
Award-winning cellars, third-generation winemakers, and tables set between the vines.
Dalmatia’s finest wines rarely leave the region — most are spoken for before they are bottled. This is a day inside that world: private cellars, winemakers who greet you by name, and tastings poured where the grapes grow.
Taste award-winning wines in exclusive vineyard settings
Chapter I
The winemakers’ Dalmatia
Your host for the day knows these families personally. At a third-generation Plavac Mali estate on Pelješac, the winemaker walks you through vines that cling to slopes too steep for machines — then opens bottles that never reach export. Each pour comes with the story of the vintage, told by the person who made it.
Chapter II
Lunch between the vines
The afternoon slows into a long table set in the vineyard itself: peka slow-cooked under the bell, cheeses from the karst pastures, and the estate’s reserve wines matched course by course. By the time the sun drops behind the ridge, you will understand why Dalmatians say their wine cannot be separated from its landscape.
